This is 13 day old Kaelea. Isn’t she beautiful? I just love holding newborn babies, and she was so calm and sweet throughout the whole session. The only time she cried was when she scratched herself in the eye, and even then she quickly calmed back down after a few snuggles. If you look closely, you’ll see that she has a little heart-shaped patch of white hair on the right side of her head. So we’re kindred spirits! That must be why she was so comfortable with me ~ we “white streak of hair” ladies need to stick together! I told her mom that I would gladly babysit anytime she needed a break, but I know I’ll have to get in line behind all the others that have fallen in love with her. Congratulations, Anthony and Misty, on the birth of your pretty little girl!
