Remember Ashton? He was my very first post when I started this website over a year ago. The cute little guy with him is Pierce. And let me tell you that Pierce has more energy than 10 toddlers put together. See the first picture in this post? He’s running. That’s what he does. He runs. Forever. I really wish someone had video taped it, because it was hilarious to see 3 adults trying to corral him and get him to stand still for a few pictures. The usual stuff I do to interact with children on a photo shoot wasn’t working, so I had to get creative. I put him in a tree. Oh he was perfectly safe; his mom was holding him from underneath. I was able to get a few cute shots before the novelty of the tree wore off, and then it was back to running. The kids were having a great time and the adults were getting desperate for some good photos before the sun went down. So, in a last ditch effort, I pulled some Smarties out of my camera bag. Well that did the trick. Apparently, Pierce loves Smarties! He stood relatively still as long as I kept offering up the magical little discs of candy. At the end of the day, we got some really sweet pictures of two really sweet and busy little boys.
